Taming the Bachelor by MJ Carnal

I have heard so many things about these books, and how they are must reads!! I kept putting it off and other books kept moving up in my TBR list. Then I started this blog and joined the blog tour for the upcoming "Taming The Boy Next Door" and got ARC copies of the previous "Taming" books. This being the first one. Man am I glad that I got the chance to read this book!! I love how real the characters are, how good they all get along. They are all like their own little family. The boys are just hilarious, they are each so different. I loved getting to know all of them. The story focuses on Mark, the player and self proclaimed forever bachelor, and Sophie, a quiet shy girl who has had her heart broken before and has walls up to protect her fragile heart. They both meet during a wedding pre party for Mark's sister Mollie, Sophie's best friend. Instantly you see how Sophie has a crazy effect on Mark, he himself does not know what is going on.

I loved how he tried so hard to deny that he was feeling anything for Sophie and that it was only lust that he felt. During a wedding party trip to Jamaica, the feelings between these two grows and they finally give in.  They enjoy each other, no strings attached during this trip. But once they get back home, they can't seem to stay away from each other. Sophie's walls come down as she let's Mark into her life and into her heart. Mark cannot believe he has fallen in love, but he falls hard and starts to plan an amazing surprise for Sophie.

Confusion and miscommunication bring about trouble for this couple. Problems arise and they are torn apart, no longer able to trust one another. Will their love be able to help them move past this obstacle, and let them be together once again? Or will they have to live apart, hurt and broken?

This book was one of those that I could NOT put down until I finished it, I read it in about a day and a half! The book flowed smoothly and I loved every second of it. I seriously felt as if I was part of their little gang. For being her debut novel this was a very well written book. Very fun and my type of romance novel!! I cannot wait to read the rest of this series.. I highly recommend it!
