BLOG TOUR: Tragic Love by M.S. Brannon

Wow, what an emotional roller coaster! I first fell in love with M.S. Brannon after being lucky enough to receive an advance copy of her first novel "Scarred Love", and was lucky enough to also receive a copy of "Tragic Love". Just like her first novel captivated me and made me fall in love with her writing. I was so excited to read this book. OMG! The things that occur in this book, I did NOT expect AT ALL!! I know a lot of readers do not like these angst, emotionally draining books, but I for one LOVE them! WOW! It took me a few days to collect my feelings before I felt like I could write a good review.

This book starts off a couple of years from where Scarred Love ended off. This book focuses on Presley and Drake while we still get snippets of the rest of the gang. We witness Presley and Drake's relationship grow and get even more serious. Then Presley's best friend Delilah comes to stay the summer with them, It seems as if life is going perfect for Presley, she has a great boyfriend, great friends and is enjoying life. But she keeps to herself the nightmares that torment her and the feelings of hopelessness that arise from these dreams. These feelings lead her to do things that may potentially ruin her relationship with Drake. Drake senses Presley pulling away, but is unsure as to what is causing it, nor does he know what to do to fix it. His focus has been working his ass off to provide for her and to save up enough money to allow them to move out and start their own lives. When things seem to be looking up for this beautiful couple, Presley does the unthinkable. Will Drake be able to see past her secrets and lies and give her another chance? Will these two ever get their own happily ever after?

M.S. Brannon once again blew me away with her excellent writting. This book kept me on my toes and surprised me so many times. My heart was broken multiple times while reading it, and I got so mad at Presley countless times, but at the same time my heart hurt for everything that she was going through. I will say that I was left in shock as to the way this ended. Many readers will not love the ending, but after reading it I can understand why she decided to take that route in the story. M.S. Brannon is quickly moving up in my lift of favorite authors and I cannot even begin to imagine what type of roller coaster she will put us through in her next book. This is definitely a MUST READ book!! I'm excited to see what else this great author releases
