Oh man, Dominic! He is INTENSE to say the least. I am somewhat shocked to find that this is L.A. Casey's first book. It is AMAZING!! One that grabbed your attention and kept you on your toes the entire time. I picked this book up and could not put it down, I read it in an entire night!! I highly enjoyed the difference in culture and the way that they talked seeing as this story took place in Ireland.
The first thing we get is Bronagh, she has lost her parents and therefore closed herself off to everyone else in hopes of never getting hurt again. She keeps to herself at school and tries to avoid conflict and problems with others. Then Dominic comes into town. Instantly you see that whole: Guy likes girl, guy picks on girl thing going on. I found it cute and kind of funny how much Dominic picked on her. It made me think of a little kid trying to get someone's attention, which is exactly what Dominic was trying to get Bronagh's attention, ANY way that he could. Then once they start interacting with one another you can just feel the sexual tension between them. It's just a matter of time before something explodes between them. Then once they are together its just chaos and intensity even more!! WOW!! I thought this story was about Bronagh finally opening up to someone, then we get a twist and find out what Dominic does, or what his family does and we get a big shock! Twists and turns arise, more drama and intensity that keeps your eyes glued to the book and reading trying to find out what will go on.
L.A. Casey has grabbed my attention with her debut book and I am so excited and on my toes to find out what else these brothers have to bring us.
