Wow! This was a debut novel?? I can't believe it!! It was amazing and kept you captivated and intrigued by the storyline and main characters. Covered In Coal by Silla Webb is one debut that you won't want to miss.
This book is filled with so many emotions and drama, I loved it! Carly Jo, wow this girl isn't afraid to speak her mind and take risks. She has been thrown obstacles after obstacles but that doesn't mean she will give up. No, Carly Jo will always fight to come up on top at the end.
She has left Kentucky, seven years later she is forced back home to deal with her past, as well as some family secrets. On top of that she is forced to deal with the one person she never wants to face, Colton Weston. Oh man! This man, he is all alpha male! Wow! From his body all the way to his attitude. He won't give up until he has what he wants.
This story shows just how tough life can be. When you think you have everything you want, life will throw you an obstacle and you can lose it all in the process. This is exactly how Carly and Colton's relationship is. It's not all candies and butterflies, it's real life throwing obstacles after obstacles to these two soulmates. Will their love be enough to keep them together? Or will life get in the way? For being a debut book, I was blown away at how amazingly written this book was! I am excited to read more from Silla Webb and see what she brings us.
