I have read every single book J.B. McGee has read, her This series, Skipping Stones, etc. Every single one of her books I have loved! I was a tad bit skeptical to read this one as I have honestly never read a book like this, or one that was co-written. But I decided to give it a try and I am so glad that I did! I can't wait to read more of this series, it is so well written and captivating.

Emmy learned at an early age to not reveal what she learns from her special gift, the gift of time travel. When she first discovered she was able to do this, it terrified her, as it seemed to bring about many complications into her life. I honestly wasn't quite interested in this part of the book, but it's what makes the book so unique the way that it talks about it and wraps the story around it. This story will definitely captivate you from beginning to end, making you want more. Once again J.B. McGee has made me fall in love with characters and become emotionally involved with characters like I did with Emmy. 

If you aren't a fan of Time Traveler books, or if you've just never read one as this type of book never caught your attention, then grab this one today! It's so much more than that, the emotion, the romance, the steam!! Wow, it is all wonderfully written and enveloped around Emmy's special gift. Definitely a series that I can't wait to read more of!!

Breakdown (Crash Into Me Book One) by Amanda Lance

I love reading books from authors new to me, most of the time I find new and unique plots and types of stories to fall in love with. I was contacted by Amanda asking if I'd like to read her upcoming book "Breakdown", I of course jumped at the chance after reading the synopsis. I was pleasantly surprised when reading this book. It's very unique and I was unsure of what to expect. 

We begin this book with the main character. She is suffering from depression and you can see how she feels as if ending her life is the only way to stop her suffering and set those around her free. She is set on doing this tonight, when her parents are away. While going to the location where she is set to jump, she runs into William. This young man convinces her to not jump and instead to go on "one last ride" with him, and at the end of it he'll take her anyplace she wants him to. Instantly I was drawn to how instantly William was drawn to the main character, Charlotte, and how protective he was of her. We see their weird, quirky relationship develop. Now instead of wanting to end her life, Charlotte finds herself addicted to the life William has shown her, a life of fast cars and adrenaline rushes. Just as I'm getting accustomed to their relationship and the way the story is going, Amanda throws us this twist. I was not expecting that! A shocking discovery from William's past comes to light, will it be too much for Charlotte, or will they be able to keep their relationship intact? 

WOW! I was amazed by this book. I will say it started off a bit slow, but it made sense to the way the story went on. I got hooked and could not put it down. I found a new author to get hooked on and cannot wait to read more from her! Definitely an author to check out

Private Affair by Danielle Torella

Private Affair by Danielle Torella is book three in the Private series. The first two books are Private Message and Private Show. In order to understand what is going on in this book you should have read the previous two books. The series follows Tess' relationship with Ben. They have had their ups and downs through their relationship. The past has haunted them and threatened to tear them apart, but throughout it all they've stayed strong and battled their demons. It seems that they have finally gotten the chance to have this relationship they've wanted and be happy?

Throughout the previous two books in this series we've gotten to know and fall in love with not only Tess and Ben but all the other supporting characters as well. The way Danielle writes these characters, it makes you feel as if you are part of this group of friends and family, not just as if you are reading the book. In Private Affair, it seems as if Tess' and Ben's lives are going great, they are together, have their dream job. But it seems as if life always finds a way to throw a new curve ball for this couple. Tess is offered a dream gig, but unlike the other gigs that she's had with Ben, this one is with a new writer, and it includes being away from Ben for a while. Seeing them struggle with trying to be there for each other, but at the same time letting the other live out their dream was so real and great. You saw how much these two love each other and have learned two put each other first above everything. 

Apart from the time apart, we also deal with other bits of drama that unfolds throughout the book, drama that includes not only Tess and Ben but also their friends and family. But they're stronger now, and are able to get through it because they have each other. Danielle's writing is magnificent, she just pulls you into this story that is so unique and unlike any other series that I have read out there. 

There are many, many romance novels out there, but none that I can compare Danielle's to. The way that she's created these characters and made them so realistic, yet unique to other characters is refreshing. I have fallen in love with this group of characters and seeing them grow and develop throughout these previous books. I highly recommend purchasing this series and falling in love with Ben and Tess
